About the map

India Startup Map is a living directory of 215 startups, venture funds and accelerators across 10 Indian cities. It’s for founders looking for neighbours, job-seekers scouting companies, and investors mapping a market.

Where the data comes from

The seed list was compiled from public information: company websites, press coverage and funding announcements. Each entry has a sector, a funding stage and an area. Stages change quickly, so treat them as a starting point, not due diligence.

Locations are approximate

Pins sit at neighbourhood level, near the centre of the area plus a small offset so they don’t overlap. We never publish street addresses.

Jobs

Open roles are pulled once a day from each company’s public job board (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters), filtered to India, and sorted into a field and level from the job title. Every role links straight to the company’s own application page. We don’t host applications or collect anything about applicants.

“Near me”

If you tap the location button, your browser shares your position with this page so it can sort companies by distance. It stays in your browser: it’s never sent to us or stored.

Corrections and new listings

Anyone can add a startup or suggest an edit from any profile. Every change is reviewed by a human before it goes live. Listing is free and always will be.

Advertising

The map is funded by a small number of clearly labelled sponsor slots. See advertising. Sponsors never change how other companies are listed.
